On the outskirts of Alicante City close to the 7km San Juan beach is a modern 18-hole golf course designed by Seve Ballesteros and opened in 1998. Incorporating lakes and artificial rivers into the design has increased the difficulty rating of the course which has a par of 72, with six par 3's, six par 4's and six par 5's. It is a gentle course to walk around and its flatness increases the visibility; the greens on all the holes can be easily seen.

Of particular note is the 9th hole where Seve has taken license with an artificial lake, designed in the shape of an S, it gently curves around the green. Whilst on the 14th hole, golfers can enjoy having to clear the ball over a re-creation of Roman ruins.

Open all year (except Christmas) it has a driving range with 70 bays, chipping area, practice bunkers and putting range. Private lessons are also available for adults and children in English and Spanish
