British Golf Triumph

18 under par 270
It's not often that the Brits are able to crow about a national sporting victory these days but thanks to its lady golfers in Alicante we can do just that.
The inaugural VCI European Ladies Golf Cup took place last week at La Sella golf club and was won by England's Trish Johnson and Rebecca Hudson.
The duo won the comp on Sunday by five strokes when finishing with an 18 under par 270, beating Belgian and German pairs into joint second place.
The La Sella course is just one of many within easy reach of Alicante itself and proved to be ideal for the fast growing number of lady
golfers worldwide.

Where am I?
