A popular bar for sampling cider - Spanish style Location Alicante City Centre
Plaza San Cristobal If you haven't visited a Sidreria before - now is your chance. Serving a 'scrumpy-like' cider, the Asturians in the North of Spain have turned drinking into an art form. Order your bottle of Cider, and the waiter will pour it from a great height into your glass, causing the cider to froth. Drink it down in one mouthful and whatever is left over - throw it into the trough! Then start again! If that proves too complicated for you then they also serve beer, wine and spirits.
